Dr. Granger was recognized by Elizabethtown College
Dr. Albert Granger ’83 has served as a member of the Elizabethtown College Board of Trustees since 2008. As a Board of Trustee, Dr. Granger participated and shared his expertise and guidance on various committees. Prior to his service on the Board, he had been an active member of the Elizabethtown College Leadership Council for several years. In 2007, Dr. Granger was recognized by the College, receiving the Dr. Charles S. Farver Apgar and Dr. Bessie D. Apgar Biology Alumni Award for his outstanding contributions and commitment to E-town students and their future success.
Dr. Granger graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1983. He then went on to study at the Howard College of Dentistry and obtained his D.D.S. in Dental Science, and completed his postgraduate training at Harlem Hospital/Sydenham N.F.C.C. where he served as Chief Resident from 1988 to 1989. Dr. Granger also has an Endodontics Certification from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and in 2007 he completed the Implant Maxi Course at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Granger is the Founding Partner of Premier Endodontics of Long Island, PLLC. He is also a former assistant professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In addition to his Trustee duties at Elizabethtown College, Dr. Granger served as a City Councilman for the City of Glen Cove, N.Y. from 1994 to 2005, and presently serves on the Board of the North Well Hospital System.
