Chris Ammons, DDS
Dr. Ammons obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Chicago State University. After completing dental school, he pursued further education and training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at NYU Langone Dental Medicine (formerly known as Lutheran Medical Center) and a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City.
Dr. Ammons practiced general dentistry in multiple underserved communities in the New York Metropolitan Area including the Bronx, Harlem, and Queens. After practicing as a general dentist, he obtained his certificate in Endodontics and Masters of Science degree in Endodontics from University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Ammons is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Tar Heel Endodontic Association (North Carolina), New York State Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society.
